Organizations cannot grow with rigid values permanently embedded in their operating system. Change requires coming face-to-face with conflicting belief systems, one currently practiced versus another that is emerging. Recognizing that there are paradoxical elements at play is a leadership challenge. Then it follows that a reconciliation needs to take place between conflicting belief systems. The end goal is to leverage the strengths of both the belief systems through integrative thinking.
